Abraham Medina
CFS Case Manager
I graduated from California State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2022, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, mental health, and the diverse needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. My academic journey fueled my passion for working directly with individuals and families to promote meaningful and lasting support.
Following graduation, I began my career as a Behavior Therapist with Kyo, where I worked directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. My role focused on empowering each child to build meaningful skills while collaborating with families to create supportive and effective environments. This experience deepened my belief that every individual deserves support that honors their unique abilities, culture, and family dynamics.
Today, as a Case Manager with the Coordinated Family Support (CFS) program, I am privileged to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who choose to live with their families. My work centers on helping clients and their families navigate resources, strengthen their independence, and create a future that aligns with their values and hopes. I am committed to walking alongside the individuals I serve, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to thrive.
